Upcycling in fashion
The world is a big consumer of “fast fashion”. We buy cheaply produced clothes and throw them away after a very short time. This represents a great burden for the environment, especially in the Countries where these clothes are produced. On top of that, the resources used to get rid of the clothes weigh on the environment too.
Hanne Zachariassen has spent much of her career reusing fabric and clothing, through her own brand ASFALT. In this workshop she shared all the knowledge she has accumulated in the past 17 years. Participants set their creativity free and let Hanne guide them while re-inventing their own t-shirt to create a tote bag!
